While we are always on the lookout for salvaged fabric, they are very rare to come by. In our current collection, the black and grey striped denim is a salvaged vintage fabric that we found in France. Rest all fabrics are new.

Our organic natural linen and cotton fabrics are dyed using natural colours and pigments only. These are free of chemicals. The yarn dyed fabrics that we do procure, such as tweed/ felt and other patterened cotton and linen fabrics – are ascertained to have been dyed using non-chemical based dyes and treatments too. Due to the completely natural colour chemistry between the organic fibres and dyes, sometimes on rare ocaassions there may be a very slight difference in colours of actual fabric and what you may see on the website.

Sustainability and doing things ethically are the tenets on which the brand was built and continues to live on.

  • For us, simply using organic materials and fabrics is not sustainable enough. We make sure we are able to repeat our procurement practices sustainably in the most environment friendly and caring way leaving a minimal carbon footprint. To make sure we unknowingly do not release an unrecoverable carbon footprint, we plant 2 trees for every £100 we get.
  • We are always on the lookout for surplus and deadstock fabrics to procure thereby doing away with the need of getting fabric manufactured from scratch just for us.
  • We have an incredibly happy and small in-house team of tailors that are taken care of as an extended family and has stayed the same since we started. For one-off projects, we recruit in the most organic way by advertising on our Instagram and most of the people who respond and get to work with us are from our follower pool.
  • Even when we collaborate with other makers, we either make sure they make the clothes themselves locally, or the chain of work is traceable. The latest example is UK based brand Studio Kettle who are just 2 lovely people making hats and clothes themselves for their own label and for us.
  • Our organic linen, cotton, moleskin, and other fabrics come from makers that are certified and even PETA approved. If needed, we are happy to provide a list of our suppliers and certifications.
  • All of our packaging is made from recycled and recyclable paper and cardboard with absolutely no plastic involved.
